I called Blind Ambition Companies because I could no longer stand the sagging vinyl miniblinds that had been in my kitchen, breakfast nook, sunroom and master bath since I purchased the house in 1994. On his first visit to my home, Vince McCauley noted that I already had Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades in in the master bedroom and dining room. These were recommended by the decorator I used in 1995. I really only wanted to replace the cheap miniblinds with something that would work. Vince listened closely; he heard me; and he made a suggestion: Consider the 2" blinds rather than miniblinds-much more contemporary. No pressure, just a suggestion. His electronic notebook produced a Santa's bag full of choices. I selected Woodmates; he measured; entered the info into his magic machine, and told me he'd call when the order was in.

The installation was done by Vince and his employee in a very meticulous fashion. No mess. They removed the saggy blinds and I disposed of them. They made sure I was happy with the way the shades operated. There are a myriad of choices and Vince helps you to make the right selection.

Okay, I'm happy with Vince McCauley and his Blind Ambition Companies! A year later, I'm becoming disenchanted with the vertical shades that the first owner of the house had installed in the front two bedrooms. I again called Vince to request more ofthe Woodmates that I'd selected for the first venture. He arrived at the appointed time armed with his trusty laptop (which contains so many treasures). He asked me to view something while he measured the windows. He was showing me the Alouettes.

Vince is a perceptive guy and understood that I appreciated quality but wasn't a spendthrift. I ended up buying Alouette blinds for the two front bedrooms. I only now have realized that I'm a totally Hunter- Douglas home. I hadn't planned it that way, but I'm delighted! I'm delighted with the expertise provided by Vince and by the quality ofthe Hunter-Douglas blinds. I heartily recommend that you consider Blind Ambition Companies the next time you need window treatments.
