Blind Ambition’s name was assumed and recorded at the Dallas County Records Office in July of 1985. On August 7, 1985, Blind Ambition was incorporated and chartered in the State of Texas. The company positioned itself as a shop at home service bringing the retail store front to the consumer’s door step. Its mission is to become a strong and successful window fashions dealer committed to Hunter Douglas products and other Interior Specialty products with the pledge to provide consumers with a thoroughly satisfying buying experience and quality installations while profitably growing our business.

We are a Platinum Plus level member of the Window Fashions Institute of Hunter Douglas. The WFI is a continuing education program where dealers earn credits for attending sponsored training programs on Hunter Douglas products. Dealers take comprehensive exams to reach platinum level.

Over the years, Blind Ambition Companies has engaged in many residential and small to medium sized commercial installations. Some of our projects include the Texas Motor Speedway of Fort Worth where we installed Hunter Douglas Innerstyles Vertical Blinds (formally Millennia Verticals) throughout the nine story Club Tower. Other recent installations of varied product applications include the City of Carrollton’s Indian Creek G. C. Club House, Audi University Park Dealership of Dallas, Derse Exhibits of Coppell, Washington Mutual Bank of Plano, Caliber Collision Center of Lewisville, Pei Wei Asian Diner of Arlington, Fossil Creek G. C. Pro Shop of Fort Worth, Linen's and Things #255 of Keller, Esparza's Restaurante Mexicano of Grapevine, City of Coppell’s Aquatic Center, Police Department, and Library just to name a few.

While the retail consumer has been a vital part of our customer base, we also offer our services to the independent ASID Interior Designers, Architects, Home Builders, and General Contractors. We will work together with you and your clients ensuring them in selecting one of the many innovated window covering solutions to meet their needs. Not only is Hunter Douglas our primary vendor of hard and soft proprietary window coverings, we are authorized dealers of Sun Control Window Films and a variety of decorative film applications for those unique applications.

This can be saved and sent to us to create a proposal so that when you are ready for your project to be measured, we will know what samples products to bring out so that final selections can be confirmed and ordered.
